Utiligent Consulting is a team of professionals dedicated to safety services in Ontario. We specialize in high-risk safety services for businesses in energy, utilities, roofing, civil and residential construction.
With over 25 years experience spanning public and private sectors, our team works with clients to navigate safety requirements in Ontario with ease. We serve clients across Southwestern Ontario and the Greater Toronto Area (GTA).

In Ontario, there is a high degree of complexity to the number of programs, legislation and rules that govern how we work. This often leaves many businesses spinning or willing to accept the minimum in safety support.
While it often feels like safety gets in the way of business growth, we know this not to be true. My goal is to share our safety expertise to help more businesses grow.

Certified since 2003, Bill is recognized as a Canadian Registered Safety Professional (CRSP)® by the Board of Canadian Registered Safety Professionals (BCRSP). The BCRSP sets certification standards for the occupational health and safety professionals across Canada. The CRSP® designation confirms that a safety professional is committed to managing health and safety issues, along with other concerns, according to the BCRSP Code of Ethics & Professional Conduct. This certification requires ongoing continuous professional development to maintain the designation
Bill is also recognized within the United States as a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with the Board of Certified Safety Professionals (BCSP). BCSP certifications are internationally accredited by the highest of qualifications set by the American National Standards Institute (ANSI), the ISO/IEC 17024 standards for personnel certification programs.
Bill’s expertise is also recognized by the Australian Institute of Health & Safety (AIHS) as a Certified OHS Professional. This designation, obtained in 2020, confirms that Bill’s knowledge and experience is recognized at a professional level by the Australian standard. Certification conducted by the AIHS is articulated against the new Global Capability Framework for the health and safety profession. This framework is a global project managed by the International Safety and Health Professional Organisations (INSHPO).
